What you’ll Find At The Del Clubhouse
The Del follows the Clubhouse International work-ordered day — a structured, nine-to-five model in which members work alongside staff to run the Clubhouse together. There is no busywork. The work is real, the skills are real, and the sense of being needed is real. That is the point.
Members plan and prepare meals for the Clubhouse community. Real kitchen skills, real responsibility, real satisfaction.
Social media management, newsletter writing, photography, video production, and public relations. Members tell The Del’s story.
Computer skills, data entry, reception, filing, and organizational support. The skills that translate directly to workplace readiness.
Cash register operation, customer service, inventory, and hospitality. Front-of-house skills in a supportive, member-run environment.
Members contribute to the organization’s sustainability through donor outreach, event support, and community engagement.
Movement and nutrition are woven into the Clubhouse day. Because physical health and mental health are not separate things.
When members are ready, The Del supports their transition to real jobs in the community — with staff who will train them for the position and cover their shift on difficult days. Because serious mental illness doesn’t follow a predictable schedule, and The Del is built around that reality.
Evenings, weekends, and holidays at The Del are for connection. Social programming designed specifically to address the loneliness and isolation that serious mental illness makes worse — because community isn’t just something we offer. It’s the whole reason we exist.
Membership at The Del is free. Always. The Del is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that depends on the generosity of this community — because the people it serves have been left out of enough systems already.
Structured job placements in the real world — real employers, real wages, and personalized guidance with The Del’s reliable support every single step of the way.
From clerical work to culinary, outreach to operations members learn skills that transfer. The Clubhouse is the classroom.
A dedicated wellness program built around food, fitness, and the understanding that physical health is part of mental health.
Events, community dinners, and shared experiences that build the kind of relationships that actually last. Because community is the treatment.
The Del depends on the generosity of people who believe that serious mental illness is not a reason to be left behind. Whether you want to volunteer, donate, refer a member, or partner with us as a business — there is a place for you in this.
